Last week we heard a lot of talk about Google Presentations. My guess is that with their Marratech deal, they are going to announce some collaborative-applications, including a video chat product that could be integrated with Google Talk. Web Worker Daily, taking a cue from Phil Squash and other publicly available data has put together a list of eight apps that Google might release in the future.
Watch out, 37Signals: the survey Phil completed suggests that project management is on Google’s to do list, something that would likely compete directly with 37Signals’ popular Basecamp service.
Contact management, file storage and sharing are some of the areas of interest to Google. I for one would love to see IMAP support on GMail.

Projity has an AJAX replacement of Microsoft Project. It would be a perfect fit for the Google folks…..

I bet, the Marratech’s tech will find its way into many apps of Google’s portfolio. However, it’s important to note, Google will try to monetize it. I guess, they put a short ad before a videoconference pictures, drawn from YouTube.
On the IMAP topic, does this protocol provide a way of setting labels? No. I hope Google extends Gmail API so email clients allowing to label messages such as Mozilla Thunderbird can utilize it.

I would really like to see Google enourmously enhance their contact manager. I would like to see ACT! or ZOHO style CRM as part of Google. That’s my 2 cents.

Once you’ve edited a picture and click save, it gives you the save to flickr option. The desktop is so dead! :-)

. . funTomas doesn’t seem to do his homework. IMAP protocol have custom flags that fits perfectly in custom labels — even the “search” imap command works great with custom flags and would be a great filter while labeling.
