More broadband consolidation in France

Iliad, neuf Cegetel and Noos-Numericable - three independent broadband service providers are bidding for T-Online France (Club Internet), an ISP that has been put on the block by its German parent, Deutsche Telekom (DT). Club Internet has 600,000 subscribers and could fetch betweeen 250-to-500 million Euros.

Latest news are that the race is between Iliad and FT, as it seems to be a problem internally for Neuf-Cegetel to go after a DT’s subsidiary.
