del.icio.us has launched a new and improved add-on that integrates del.icio.us into the Firefox web browser. There are over two million del.icio.us users. ” From the new sidebar you can sort and search your bookmarks instantly, view tag intersections, and even modify your bookmarks,” the del.icio.us team writes on their blog. For more info from the del.icio.us team, visit the del.icio.us blog. Here is a quick tour of the new application.

I have been using this for a while now, and I can attest that this has made my life easier. None of the built in bookmarking features met my needs in Firefox or IE, and Foxmarks doesn’t cut the mustard. With the del.icio.us feature, I can access my bookmarks from any of my computers (I have 4 I use regularly between work, home, windows and linux versions), and I can access them on the del.icio.us site from any PC. Extremely easy to use, and well put together. I could go on and on, hopefully everyone tries this out.

Works for me. I do a weekly podcast dealing with news items where I live and having the plugin is a godsend.
