  1. Major league baseball has not been "experimenting with fees for accessing online games"; it has been – successfully – charging fees to watch live video major league games online for at least 3 or 4 full seasons. It just hasn't been doing so and selling advertising at the same time.

  2. Two years ago March Madness On Demand was run by CSTV for a subscription fee and they also sold ads that played during tv breaks.
