We already knew that AT&T had a deal in place with Napster for the company’s mobile music service. Now the companies are adding some promotional details of the plan. AT&T’s broadband and wireless customers can access Napster for free for a year when they agree to one of the various service plans — which aren’t too compelling

“not too compelling”…? Huh?

Care to elaborate? I’m paying $15 per month for a service I think blows away anything else that is legal and now my cell phone operator is offering it to me for free. That’s not compelling? I guess you must be comparing it to piracy. Are you a pirate? Because if you are you might want to check out the RIAA’s legal case against you. It’s a lock. Pirates are breaking the law…and it’s about to become a very risky (and expensive) habit.

I meant the plans that the carrier makes you agree to to get this promotion.

AT&T will behave stingy untill Verizon or Sprint comes out with a simpler, bold strategy and friendlier plans!
