I am currently stationed in Japan and at almost $.10 a minute to call home using calling cards, this product was a blessing. I purchased an upgrade and now have my service active until 2013 for around $100. I have had no issues with service or connections. You must have a consistent internet connection and the resources on your computer to run the program, but short of that, Plug and Play. I travel to foreign countries monthly and use it with my laptop wherever there is a wireless signal. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Majic Jack - What a piece of junk. I received my several days ago and still can not get it to work. My phone gets a dial tone, but when I try to place an outgoing call, I get a message, “No output/input audio devices are found.” I’ve updated all of my drivers and spend hours with there computerized chat to resolve the problem. I’m sending it back!

Majijack is a “majic jack” No customer service only run around unauth excessive charges not only that but had a tracer program for all calls and activity on your computer!!!!!!!!!!

Magic Jack quoated me one price and charged my credit card another. It charged me 2 shipping charges and sent me one (1) package. I have been trying for over 30 days to cancel and had no way to do so. Can someone please tell me how to send this JUNK BACK?

Received Magic Jack 9 days ago. It worked fine for 48 hours and now I cannot receive a phone call. I can dial out fine. Have spent 5 hours working with tier 2 tech support, engineering support and finally the “concern department” They can only state it’s problem on their end, and everyone promises a resolution and email within 24 hours. You guessed it… I’ve never received an email and I’m sending this P.O.S. backfor a refund.

I ordered magicjack……great if they people I call would hear me better. They say I am way in a distant. I turned mic up with no change. I talked with 3 techs that could not change anything with what they suggested either. Took off anti-virus and firewalls with no change. So must send it back. Sorry not to my satisfaction.

In response to those who questions Majicjacks legitimacy this product is for real I am a hard nose skeptic about anything that is invlolved with telecommunications. I’m also a former Comcast Empoyee which meand I’m very familiar with telephone services through VOIP(was an troubleshooter/installer) So skepitcally I ordered this product and to my suprise after pluggin it in after 45 secs later I had dailtone I called everyoine i knew to see if there was a difference in quality sound,nothing! no one could tell the difference..I totaly sold An since have become a distributer with the company!!!! it’s a miracle, I finally get rid of my phone bills, I recommend 1000% this wonderful device to all those who really want to take off the hard mask of the thieves (telephone companies) Those whom for many years get richer and richer stealing money abusing of our ignorance about communications.

well, actually carriers CAN do it - all WiFi’s have little value if they ain’t wired this or that way… and there is no way to do Her Majesty Last Mile overnight ;)

This isnt a problem at all - this is about devices that use a WiFi connection, so carriers cant do anything about this!
