LAUNCHED MONDAY: Another podcast company is going live, with its first point of differentiation being it doesn’t start with “pod.” That’s not to say the name is memorable, though; it’s Personal Life Media. The tagline? Juicy lifestyle content for you, the web-enabled Boomer.

Whoo-hoo. Founded in 2006 and based in Los Altos, California, it’s not clear how much the company has wheedled from venture capitalists. Unlike some of the early podcast content creators, the company is staying away from the tech-culture and is focusing on more mainstream categories. Shows will include “Living Dialogues,” “Beauty Now,” “Living Green,” “Money, Mission & Meaning,” and “Sex, Love and Intimacy.”
