Exit Games, a mobile multiplayer and online game infrastructure provider, has raised $4.6 million in funding to help finance improvements to their service. Led by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), another round of funding was secured, and announced earlier today. What can we expect to see from Exit Games in the near future?

Exit Games, based out of Hamburg, Germany, handles the mobile infrastructure needs for several larger mobile companies such as Verizon, Cingular, Sprint and Glu Mobile. Mobile phone service, and especially gaming, is growing very quickly in Europe. With expected revenues of $17.5 billion by 2011, and Europe accounting for 31% of that, it’s a great time to expand your mobile business. With the rate at which the mobile and casual gaming industries are growing, it’s probably a wise idea for Exit Games to work on their offerings.
