Reuters is quoting sources as saying that Nokia will unveil a mid-range DVB-H capable phone at 3GSM, which will be the N77. This comment is interesting: “Immediately when the phone prices reach the 200-300 euro (US$260-390) price point, mobile television goes mass market”. While it certainly won’t hurt to have cheaper handsets, it may take more than that to get mobile TV mass market. However, it is in Nokia’s interest to get the DVB-H standard implemented as widely as possible, and a larger variety of handsets will help that.
