I think it&#039;s absurd to say that it&#039;s still early in the game. One finds it hard to hold out much hope for a marathon runner that shows up to the starting line 200 pounds overweight, wearing blue jeans and cowboy boots.

There&#039;s pretty much nothing. The only way you can offset a console that bleeds money is with software. Except Sony&#039;s made it as unappealing as possible to make software for the PS3. And i really wonder if gamers of any sort really care about how much &quot;better&quot; things can look at this point.

I think the only shot it has is (Deliciously! Perversely!) tied to developers wanting to make some hardcore progress with physics applications in relation to dynamic gameplay and AI that actually matters. They can&#039;t be competitors to what the 360 does for the &quot;mainstream&quot; (hardcore-wannabes), and they can&#039;t go for the &quot;casual crowd&quot;. So, really, the only avenue left is to REALLY be hardcore.]]></description>
