Hearst Magazines bought eCRUSH’s group of youth-oriented websites, the company announced today. eCRUSH says it has 2.4 million users — which I would assume includes me, circa fall 2000 — and 1 million monthly visitors across eCRUSH network sites — which definitely doesn’t include me. Guess old media feels more comfortable hooking up with old-timer web startups.
