Om, thanks very much for the mention. Understand your skepticism, since it must seem to you like we came out of nowhere, but this is a long time in the making, with a lot of learning and hard work in the space on our parts behind it. Please feel free to come by anytime you're in New York if you'd like to meet the team and check out what we're doing. We've got some great tandoori places in the neighborhood, too.

My favorite from Spark's website portfolio was KickApps.com. The Web 2.0ify your company with all the basic social networking and Web 2.1 applications. Can anyone tell me what 4th Media does? They didn't even give an "About Us".4a7d3d609129a9296bf7ac0608c2097

Om,
'Crispy' lamb chops? I much prefer tender unless you meant crispy on the outside and tender on the inside ;)

Sorry, as a tandoori lamb chop lover myself, I couldn't resist!

Happy New Year.

Older well established companies/people often go off and expand into new space even though they don't have the slightest clue how it really works. They figure that because they were successful in one market they will automatically be successful in another.

This reminds me of a phone company I worked for that decided to do DR. They partnered with a crappy hardware company and offered a inferior product to the world but thought it was great because they received great pricing and a steak in that company. Needless to say they didn't sell one device and went back to what they were good at, phone/internet service.
