CNET Networks has finalized the contract for the new CEO Neil Ashe, according to its latest SEC filing. His employment agreement, effective Dec 20, says that he will be paid “a base salary of $500,000 and will be entitled to receive an annual performance bonus of up to $400,000, payable upon achievement of 100% of performance goals and objectives determined by the Board in its discretion”. Also, Barry Briggs, the current COO of the company who earlier this month announced that he is leaving effective Jan 12, will be paid severance in the amount of $750K upon his resignation, the filing said.
