Digg Down-ed

As they say, too much of a good thing sometimes is not all that good. Yesterday’s nice facelift and video enhancements brought down Digg earlier this morning, taking it out for nearly two hours. That is a first for Digg, which has worked hard to maintain uptime. Given CEO Jay Adelson’s data center industry roots (and connections), it is hard to imagine him not being obsessed with uptime. I guess, all the buzz got to them. You can follow their uptime at Pingdom.

Wow I have had them down all day. I guess that’s because in may bookmarks I have it listed as (link) I guess they need the (link) . now since that is how I got to them now. Gosh I hate typing instead of clicking links.

Yes thats right, they fixed the “www.digg.com” sooner then they fixed the “digg.com” without (link) .

I guess some one just forgot (guessing) to point the “digg.com” to the same place as the one with (link) .
