Aircard595_angleLooks like James got good info last week on Verizon Wireless EV-DO Rev. A: the company just announced the availability of the Sierra Wireless AirCard 595 PC Card! The AirCard 595 is available on-line now and to business customers for $99.99 after a $50 rebate; you’ll need to commit to two years of service for that price. The press release indicates no changes for the Broadband Access data plans: $59.99 a month with a qualifying voice, $79.99 a month without.

There’s still no official word on which cities are ready to go for Verizon’s faster EV-DO Rev. A service, but the card will work in the current EV-DO Rev. 0 coverages areas now.
