Wired is featuring an article that shows the top ten gadgets of the modern era that changed the world.  First up is the RCA Model 630TS TV that debuted in 1946.  The 100 pound beast featured a 10 inch black and white screen and integrated speakers.  I have to agree with most of the gadgets on this list, something that doesn’t happen too often.  Fortunately for me many of them were before my time but the ones I remember really were life-altering devices.  Especially the microwave and Walkman.
