Earthlink will build Alexandria, VA MuniFi Network

The Wireless Report says that Earthlink has won the contract to build a wifi network in Alexandria, Virginia. The 16 square mile wireless network will offer discounted access to low income residents, and the news announcement is likely to be made tomorrow. Earthlink is also building networks in Anaheim, Philadelphia and several other cities.
