Sling Media partners with 3 Group
At the Web 2.0 conference last week Sling Media’s CEO Blake Krikorian said the company had sealed a deal with its first carrier partner. Today Sling says that carrier is the 3 Group. Nice. We’re wondering if the U.S. carriers will ever follow suit?

Who needs carriers to follow suit? This what Windows Mobile is good for. As crappy as Windows Mobile 5 is as an operating system, at least it wrests control back from the carrier in terms of what applications you can run.
