There is much ethnographic indication that people want to be social and collaborative with their money and finances, but have been socialized not to speak on such topics due to perceived taboos and the austerity of wealth v. poverty. Not to mention that you are taught to use your money in a certain way (usually based on your position on the wealth ladder). Fluid data and easy connections as well as the new set of behavioral norms that are mainstreaming should hit this industry nicely. </p> <p>I like ChipIn, but the model has not emerged. It should be interesting to see how it can drive more communal activity and ownership of goals that are not possible today.
