Gawker publisher Nick Denton has parted ways with blogger Nick Douglas, the smart aleck he transplanted to San Francisco earlier this year to start Silicon Valley gossip blog Valleywag (a regular read for all of us at GigaOM). Nick Sr. will be standing in until he finds a replacement — someone a little older who can nab more scoops, according to Bambi Francisco. Word has it, Little Nicky just found out this evening.
