Lou Reed at Web 2.0

Just got home from a totally absurd AOL-sponsored Lou Reed performance to cap off a long day at Web 2.0. Apparently he is AOL CEO Jon Miller’s kung fu practice partner. Don’t want to whine about being treated to a private show and Tim O’Reilly’s exuberant dancing, but after a day of watching executive interviews and fending off doormen constantly reaching to check my badge…the whole “harnessing collective intelligence”/”long tail”/”openness” thing is hard to keep at the forefront of my mind.
