We’re in the middle of a couple of geeky talks about building widgets. Adobe’s James Ward just showed off Flex by getting into the nitty-gritty code; now Alex Russell, project lead for The Dojo Toolkit, is talking through some high-level concepts. He proposes a definition: “behavior + data + customization = widget,” then points out it applies to something as widespread as online advertising.
