Adobe Donates Flash Code to Mozilla
Just today at Widgets Live, attendees were complaining about the proprietary nature of Flash. Well, Adobe is announcing it is taking some steps to rectify that, opening up source code for its ActionScript Virtual Machine and putting it in care of the Mozilla Foundation for the purposes of developing standards-based tools for creating Flash web apps.
