Ad Platforms Take 2

We chatted last week with Adify, which is launching the build-your-own-ad-network tool it’s been talking about for a while. Basically, it’s a toolkit for becoming your own John Battelle, putting together a niche advertising network — and, of course, it’s being formally presented at John Battelle’s show tomorrow.

Also in the news today is AdBrite, which is launching its version 2.0, now focused on matching brand advertisers with blogs and smaller sites. The idea is a Google AdSense-like system for graphical ads. OK, back to widgets.
