I have a better solution. How about utilizing the slashdot solution? Let all stories be on the homepage, featured stories expanded and the non-featured stories collapsed. Most people wouldn’t mind that.
actually, our featured stories are already collapsed on the ‘Featured’ tab.
if we included both Regular stories collapsed & Featured stories uncollapsed, it would look pretty much like the ‘All Stories’ tab does right now, just longer.
(altho, it’s not a bad idea to expand the Features stories on that tab… thanks, we’ll think about that ;)
