Translator_1OK, maybe that’s not the word you would use the most while traveling, but you never know. Personally, I’d prefer to use a software application for Windows Mobile for language translation, but if you’re PDA-averse, this 12-language translator might be the trick. We can also recommend a doctor to get you over your PDA-phobia.

Until then, you can translate 240,000 words and 27,000 common phrases back and forth to: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. The handheld translator will set you back $200 but does speak the translations so you can get around the town without actually speaking a word to that cabby overseas. Hey this could be useful when they ask for a tip; just discretely pull the batteries and look apologetic! ;)
