Amazon.com is looking for an Account Manager for Digital Media. This position requires someone with strong account management competencies (including negotiation experience, vendor interactions and outstanding phone skills), analysis and data mining skills and excellent teamwork skills. This individual will be the main point of contact at Amazon for vendors; track on site performance by vendor; track adherence to deal terms; discuss and negotiate terms associated with new features that may be launched on the site; develop forecasts; and coordiwnate with Amazon merchandising and other departments to manage the entire relationship with each vendor. This person will also identify and sign new vendors to the program.
The ideal candidate is a sales / business development manager who has developed successful partner relationships, managed complex contract terms and who can attain an in-depth grasp of complex systems.
This person must have knowledge and passion for technology, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and preferably some experience in the home video or television business.
Minimum 3 years of sales / business development experience required, and experience with Excel, Access and other management reporting tools is highly desired.
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
