DoubleClickis seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our sales team to sell and manage relationships with our Advertiser Prospects.
This is a “bring in new business” sales role where the prime responsibility is to close new business with prospective new clients. The candidate will own National accounts and operates at the “C”, VP and Media Director levels, penetrating into all areas of the business including subsidiaries and partnerships; therefore, only candidates who have demonstrated experience and skills winning the respect, trust, and thought leadership of “C’s” & VP’s, and who demonstrate the ability to articulate a solution-based value proposition matched to a CEO agenda (or business need of the audience) will be considered.
This individual’s primary responsibility will be to bring new accounts into DoubleClick, including prospecting and answering in-bound inquiries. After the contract is done, an Account Manager will be assigned the responsibility for maintaining and growing the candidate’s existing business by managing the day-to-day client service issues and selling to & maintaining excellent relationships with client technical product “users” and operational teams. Must be able to perform against aggressive quota and excel in a highly competitive market.
The company enables Advertisers to create, manage, and report success of intelligent marketing and advertising campaigns through a full suite of end-to-end marketing and advertising technologies. Travel is required.
-Must have referenced selling skills (HUNTER) at the “C” and VP levels.
-Candidate must have proven excellent solution selling, communication and client management skills, and proven track record demonstrating a strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with top tier clients (Miller/Heiman trained plus+).
-Must be commercial savvy with 3+ years experience as a National or Major Account Sales rep, with National/Major portfolio Account Management success.
-Must be a natural to empathize with the client side and return with a value proposition how our product/services can solve the business need or show clients how to increase their revenues.
-Industry experience a MUST in the areas of Marketing/Advertising or interactive or Ad Serving
-Must be able to negotiate and close deals.
-Must have ability to identify and escalate new business opportunities with existing clients.
-Must be a team player.
