Based in New York, VNU Business Media publishes more than 50 business publications and operates more than 200 business-to-business electronic products. We operate around the globe, covering some of the most powerful industries in the world, including advertising, marketing, media, and entertainment, via brands such as Adweek, Brandweek, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced content sales person to help drive revenue growth for VNU’s fast-growing enterprise licensing business. Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of licensing/business development/sales experience in new media. Must possess strong negotiation and deal-closing skills. Experience with consultative sales calls, enterprise sales experience preferred. Masters degree preferred.
Ideal candidate would also possess:
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to interact with various levels of companies from librarians to the executive level
- Experience identifying and approaching appropriate contact inside a target client
