Verizon_xv6700_pocket_pc_2I’ve downloaded the 39.5 MB file, but haven’t installed it yet. There’s no official info from Verizon, even though they’re hosting the file. Could the MSFP finally be here? Is Direct Push email in my immediate future or will Verizon continue to taunt me? Tune in tomorrow to see if I took the plunge. Oh, and if any of you beat me to the install, let me know how it goes, ‘k? :)

  1. I downloaded the upgrade and tried to install but it kept giving me errors. I do not have Active Sync proccess running, did a hard rest to clear any issues.
After mulitple attempts, I found that the USB hub connetion casued the software not to recognize the phone, even though I had used Active Sync successfully for months. I plugged into a direct USB port and the software installed correctly.
