Now that Bill Gates has made it official that he will be spending time on his charities and slowly transition out of his active duties at Microsoft, the big question is who should run Microsoft. So here is a tiny poll, which lets you make your own pick. (Also, read my two cents at the BBC website.)

  1. I don’t see Steve Jobs on that poll… ;)

  2. Bill favoured Indians too much may be some Indian guy… ;)

  3. Paul Jardine Sunday, June 18, 2006

    I’d vote Steve Jobs…

  4. Harshal Vaidya Sunday, June 18, 2006

    Me ? ;)

  5. Kashif Aziz Sunday, June 18, 2006

    Larry Page and Sergery Bin

  6. Tom Ballantyne Monday, June 19, 2006

I heard that Ray’s the man from Leo LaPorte and a panel of people who oughta know on TWIT podcast #58 last Friday (6/16/2006). Of course, people who oughta know often don’t.

  7. Steve is the main business brain behind microsoft. He should continue to be there. I knw there have been a few missed boats in the past, but then Microsoft has always always caught up and I am sure will do so again this time.

  8. Philippe Kahn

  9. Linus Trovalds and Doc Searls, with some help from Shuttleworth. Oh and
add a dash of Jobs just to make sure every thing actually integrates but doesn’t become an iPod and or a Cube

  10. Bill gates and no one else. He rules the computer world. And steve jobs can just keep eating apples because after Bill is done with him he’s gona need all the iron he can get. “An apple a day cant keep “Gates” away.
