Moleskine_1 Many folks swear by the low-tech, high-class note taking method provided by a Moleskine notebook. If you’re not familiar with Moleskine, they’ve been used for a few centuries; in fact, Vincent van Gogh used one as a sketchbook and that very Moleskine is on display in the Amsterdam museum that bears his name.

Moleskine is actually expanding the ancient standby with their Moleskine City Notebooks for various major cities. The new additions include: maps of the city, personal archive pages with tabs for organization, tear-out sheets for notes,  metro transit maps and more. The new City Notebooks are currently available for several European cities; watch for some U.S.-based notebooks by next spring.
