Yahoo’s Brad Winner

A little birdie tells us that there has been a slight re-org at Yahoo. As part of this game of musical chairs, Yahoo’s in-house VoIP guru, Brad Garlinghouse, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Communications, Communities and Front Doors (CCF). He used to handle the Communication Products (Mail, Messenger, Voice, Photos and PIM) and now will also oversee Yahoo Groups and 360, as well as Yahoo.com and My Yahoo! A memo to this effect was sent out by Ash Patel, Yahoo’s CPO.

And in other news:

* Bradley Horowitz has taken on the role of Vice President of Product Strategy for Yahoo!

* Eric van Miltenburg is the vice president of business planning and development.

* Julie Herendeen is leading the newly formed Yahoo! Product Platform Group, which includes membership, personalization and communications & community platforms.

A memo to this effect was sent out by Ash Patel, Yahoo’s CPO.

It’s amazing that Brad got promoted… Hasn’t launched Oddpost yet - it’s almost been 2 years since the acquisition; finally licensed Global IP Sound for IM; bought Dialpad - the company he was former CEO of for his VoIP solution, etc.
