NBA SVP Brenda Spoonemore made it clear during our recent interview that the NBA is open to multiple video delivery and business models. NBA TV is selling 15-20 minute game recaps from every network airing NBA playoff games 24 hours after air; that includes Turner’s TNT, ABC, ESPN and NBATV. Also, complete versions of each game of the finals broadcast by ABC will be on iTunes the following day. The iTunes versions will get what looks like unprecedented promotion across the participating networks.
