It is double your viewing day on jkOnTheRun!  Kevin told us about software solutions for putting extra monitors to use like Mulitplicity, Synergy, Ultramon and MaxiVista.  Now you can add another choice that uses a combination of software and a USB or Firewire cable to double your screen real estate.  Laplink (remember them?) has just announced DoubleView, a program that you install on any two computers in the same place and connect them via USB or Firewire.  The second PC screen then acts as an extension of the primary PC’s display, and while this sounds just like the software-only solutions (which usually rely on WiFi to connect the two computers) DoubleView should be much faster with a physical connection.  $35.
