Acer has been producing Ferrari branded laptops for some time so I guess Asus decided to team up with an exotic car maker themselves.  The ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 looks very sweet and packs some Core Duo punch under the hood.  The 15 inch screen running at 1400 x 1050 is powered by the nVIDIA GeForce 7400 with 512 MB of video RAM making this a sure bet to be Vista-friendly.  Throw in a gig of high speed memory, dual layer DVD and a 120 GB hard drive and you’ll be cruising in style.  Heck, you’ll be in front of the pack.  The partnership between Asus and Lamborghini was announced at the CES back in January but the notebook should be available soon.
