Press release: Value Chain, an Australian business process information management company, has acquired Digital Publishing Solutions Pte Ltd, a company which runs an e-publishing operation in India. The deal size is not disclosed. The transaction will see Value Chain assume full ownership of DPS’ operations in Singapore, India, UK and the US. DPS has been in the business of delivering digital content solutions, and has over 600 staff worldwide. It has customers like McGraw Hill, Taylor & Francis, Harcourt, Thomson, and Cambridge University Press.
Ananda Rao, CEO of Value Chain, said the acquisition of DPS provides a perfect strategic fit and will help drive new lines of revenue for the business in content digitization, conversion and processing. The DPS business will add an additional AUD$6 million in revenue, bringing Value Chain’s total revenue for 2006/2007 to approximately AUD$8 million.
