I was using 30boxes for sometime but after the Google calendar, I will probably switch to the google because I want to have one authentication for most of the stuff.

Besides, it has nice integration with gmail and many more.

Good luck to the rest of the online calendar applications!! One way they win because they force others to innovate. But, I'm not sure about their exist startegy.

The calendar is repleat with potential, however beware the Beta. I cannot get GCalendar to work properly with my firewall activated (Zone Alarm) and other Posts report the same thing (with a variety of browsers and firewalls). I placed a trusted range for Google IP’s in ZA and still the Java buttons (most annoyingly the save button in “create event” mode) do not respond or even offer various options. It seems somewhat prevalent at this point although some platforms appear to have no dificulties i.e. Mac Systems. I hope the bugs are ironed out soon as it is an awesome interface and marvelously intuitive. Get on it Google because these bugs are a deal breaker for many.

It's patently obvious, just like the other commenters have already stated, that gcal needs to sync with the major groupware products: MS Outlook/Exchange, Novell GroupWise, and Lotus Notes.

As Interop approaches it's a nightmare to schedule briefings. If I could dynamically publish my calendar (without details) it would make the process so much easier, although I noticed that you need a Google account to view shared calendars. =(
