Troubled technology media company Ziff Davis reported its Q4 earnings and its revenues totaled $57.8 million, a decline of 11% compared to $65.0 million reported in the prior year quarter. The company’s print revenues for the period were down 20%, while online revenues grew 24% and Digital Life event revenues increased 38%.
EBITDA for Q4 was $8.4 million, down 47% from $15.9 million for the prior year period.
Among the few bright spots for the company, It’s gaming website 1UP Network saw doubling of its revenues in Q4, though the company did not specify the numbers.
On the acquisition of FileFront, a videogame downloads site, Ziff Davis paid a total of $6 million for the acquisition and the launch of its Chinese operations, the company said.
