The Economic Times: D Shivakumar is likely to take over as the new head of Nokia India. Currently an executive director and vice president of the Rs 2,500-crore Philips India, Shivakumar “will be in charge of pushing growth in the handset business and supporting other lines of business like networks”. He will be succeeding Sanjeev Sharma, who will relocate to Singapore to assume charge as V-P-marketing, for the Asia-Pacific region.
Update: ContentSutra learns that Devendra Kishore, the VP (processed foods), at Hindustan Lever Ltd, may take over as the marketing head of Nokia.

  1. Thats great that Mr Shivakumar is taking over as the new head of nokia india. I am a total nokia user of mobiles for the last 10 years using most of the nokia handsets starting from 3300, 6600 all the n series like n 70, n72, 73, n85, n95, n95 8gb , the 5800 xpress phone etc. Have never had any problem or ever opened any phone in the last 10 years, except the brand new nokia n85 within couple of days it started giving problem, of speaker right hand side not working. Am not getting any response from nokia to my problem. Why ????? Will the new head of nokia india give me respite??
