Somebody’s Watching Me

Okay that’s paraphrasing an 80s favorite by Rockwell, but still…this week’s PodSession is about Online privacy.

Niall and I discuss the privacy issues and our increasingly connected lives. I take issue with the lack of effort large internet companies make in telling consumers about the issues at hand, and hide behind long winded EULAs. We also talk about the trade-offs involved when users interact with advanced features of online services.

It is 29 minutes long and it is a 13 MB download.

Consumers will not lose the privacy war because of any battle with corporations, but rather one day consumers will wake up and realize they have given away their privacy for free email, songs, web sites, free mobile calls and the like.
