AMBUSH™ Security System / Stationary Vehicle Surveillance System. Patent number 6,940,397
Intellectual Property owner Ben LeMire

This invention is an award winning patent from the history Channels Invent Now Challenge and was featured on KOIN news 6 in Portland Oregon

This new patented technology will finally allow you to record that vehicle break in and use the videographic and audio evidence to prosecute those responsible.

YES! You will finally be able to do something about being broken into, and stand a chance against those who would steal and make gain from your valuables.
If you have ever called the police after your car has been broken into you will see the value in this system. The common response is “we are too busy to do anything about your vehicle break in, feel free to fill out a report but don’t expect us to actually help.”

Old fashioned car alarms are a nuisance and if they work at all it is usually too late.
With the evidence from your Ambush System, it may finally be possible to identify perpetrators, put them where they belong, and recover your stolen items.

[...] Stowe Boyd invents the “Conversation Index“, basically divide the number of posts by the number of comments and trackbacks. He reckons the index has to show up at less than one for a blog to thrive. Everyone reckons it’s all about the conversation. Over to our right there, there’s a bit of talk about this new aggregator, no sorry, apparently we’ve not used up our new Web 2.0 buzzword quota this month and it’s now a “memetracker“. Sorry, about that. Anyway, it’s called Megite and it’s ok, but not as good as memeorandum. But more to the point, all these new memetrackers are top stuff because the assist in the flow of conversation. [...]

Shutting you up for ever is item #1347 on my game plan - I just checked. That's due Q3 2007, although there may be slippage...

I have cunning plans for the UI, and I will keep you posted. Cheers.

I agree; as I've commented on Pete's blog I think I've spent around 90% of my effort on chuquet.com since November 2004 on the engine and about 10% on the UI.

The UI is the next focus: a simpler initial impression with less 'fuss', but allowing the user to drill into interesting stuff as needed.

Mind you, I have had some very positive feedback about the Chuquet way of presenting things...
