Orb is a great way to stream audio and video files from your home PC to almost any mobile device you have. The service is just great as it analyzes the bandwidth and video capability of the mobile device and optimizes the stream so you get the best quality and performance, even if you are streaming to a PDA. I noticed on the Orb support forum that they have a new beta version available that adds file browsing to the standard Orb service. You can now traipse through your files remotely from within the Orb interface making for a very convenient platform to work with your multimedia files. You can even upload or download files using the remote connection to Orb. It is great to see the folks at Orb continuing to push the envelope with their product.

  1. Did they solve the annoying problem that 2 out of 3 times I start Orb it says “Can not retrieve account information”?
