810 million phones sold in 2005

Strategy Analytics says a whopping 810 Million Mobile Phones were shipped worldwide in 2005; fourth quarter alone accounted for 245 million units. 2006 will see 930 million mobile phones shipped worldwide, and a billion in 2007.
