Sorry guys - no scoop - this has been around for a long time. Just type in:”movie:ZIP CODE” and you get movie listings and the aggregated reviews.
What is intersting though is that google more and more often will now offer alternative results beyond the regular ones. With ‘Syriana’ you get the movie listings, with “Last Action Hero” (don’t ask - it’s after midnight), I got image results automagically. I remember seeing results for alternative keywords more often over the last few weeks as well.

wow… seems interesting use of the local search space. i saw this for the first time today. anyway i am glad i found it. now i can check the reviews…
