from operating systems through databases to portals and applications (SugarCRM). Middleware messaging which is stuck in the middle gaining quiet a bit of traction offered as an open source.

Few days ago, slashdot had a discussion about how 90ish Java was and how PHP was gaining ground. If they get drivers to work on Linux I would never buy anything from Microsoft. But a “_dick_head_” in Portland is opposed to HAL in Linux kernel. I hope he will be proved wrong soon.
