The University of Maryland has developed a Tablet PC-based presentation system for educators.  The Tablet Mylar Slides Classroom Presentation System provides an “infinitely long” slide the width of a sheet of paper that can be used to demonstrate virtually anything that can be done with the pen.  The software is free for educators and can be downloaded from the web site.  The software is very good to project pages without the physical slide size constraint of PowerPoint or other presentation software.  The instructor can choose not to present parts of the inked notes to the classroom, thus allowing notes to be taken but not shared with the public notes.
