You’ll need your own monitor, keyboard, mouse and wired ethernet access but for a PC that fits in your hand the eBox-3800SL is a cool (fanless) thin client computer.  Based on the VIA Eden Nano 800 MHz processor with integrated VIA graphics, the Nano sports 256 MB of RAM, 2 USB ports and a 5 second quick-boot BIOS.  The lack of WiFi limits its mobility to some degree but all in all the eBox can be a nice solution for IT support personnel and others who need a CPU core to carry from one location to another.

  1. I’m confused as to why bother having separate PS/2 keyboard and mouse connections when you could just have another USB or two (far more useful) or squish a tiny wi-fi adapter in there.

  2. It’s probably because the Via chip and bios doesn’t know how to interpret a USB mouse and keyboard connected via USB at boot.

  3. Also needs a HD ;)

  4. why to have PS2 KB and Mice, cox some area the USB mice or Keyboard is NOT easy to buy, so we design to ahve both connector, and another model eBox-3850PS has retain a space for 2.5 HDD install.
