My dear friend James Enck who lives in London reports that he downloaded the Google WiFi Secure Access client in London, and is able to log on to it from many different locations in the city.

Hmmm… Looks like the definition of “Bay Area” is very broad…A friend in Scandinavia has also downloaded the product and say he hasn’t been able to use it. Maybe this is just a fluke unique to me, but it works nevertheless.
Anyone outside of Bay Area being able to use the Google VPN? Let me know.

It is already available in California Bay Area, but others as far as London are reporting they are able to get online after downloading the Google WiFi Secure Access client. Since April word has been flying, but now Google has begun to fessup to their secret plans. The company spokesperson Nate Tyler stated “Google WiFi is a community outreach program to offer free wireless access in areas near our headquarters.
