France DSL Wars, Take Two

france dslRodrigo A. Sepúlveda Schulz has become my default French “broadband correspondent.” He informs us of all the latest developments in France on his wonderful blog. And now he tells us that the ADSL price wars have become “ridiculous.” For instance, T-Online’s French operation called Club Internet has started selling 20 megabits/second ADSL2+ connection for less than 10 euros a month. That’s a whopping $12 a month. That offer is good for first 3 months, and then the price goes up to 19,90 euros/month (that’s about $25 a month) including unlimited voice calls to fixed lines in France. And the modem doesn’t seem included, so it’s 24,90 euros/month. Here is a price comparison chart - its in French.

Hi,
my experience her in Franc:
I use the Tele2 since a time, and now the ADSL service..
They cancelled my old Email address without a notice, they offer just Webmail now.
They used the Port 587 for smtp, some email clients can’t handle it.
The -customer service- is inacceptable…..
never would recommend the Tele2.
Best
